Today the United Nations Security Council passed Resolution 1737, which imposes sanctions on Iran, among other things, for noncompliance with its NPT and IAEA obligations, and for refusing to suspend all activities related to uranium enrichment and plutonium reprocessing (as demanded of it by the IAEA Board of Governors and the U.N.
